Anne Lowthian, B.A., B.Ed, OCT, a full-time teacher and special education specialist, brings more than thirty years combined experience in education and advocacy to her writing.  Her one hour seminar: “A Gender Inclusive Community”, shares her family’s story, current research, and best practices, and what she and her partner learned from their young daughter, Charlie, during the whole family’s continuing journey to understand gender identity and expression.  Travelling across the country, Anne and her daughter invite their neighbours to reconsider their understanding of gender, in light of evidence based improvements in education, health services, and security.
